I connect the dots. I’m all about creating campaigns with cohesive branding, digital advertising, social media, public relations, and beyond.
My knowledge base has been built by way of collaborating on marketing teams for top music festivals, managing digital communications for six multifarious venues in East Tennessee, and assisting in fundraising efforts for non-profit entities that support historical venues.
With drastic variations of demographics between each entity I’ve worked on, I’ve grown in my ability to interpret each platform’s analytics and empower an online community of fiercely devoted fans to connect with the brands.
2015 - 2020 At AC Entertainment, a now subsidiary of Live Nation Entertainment, I lead our social media, newsletters, website management, digital advertising campaigns, digital graphic design, copywriting, cross-platform promotional campaigns, publicity, and more for our online brands and properties, including these venues: Tennessee Theatre Foundation, Bijou Theatre Foundation, Tivoli Theatre Foundation, The Mill & Mine, and more as needed in different seasons. I also have the pleasure of collaborating with our team on our festivals that include Big Ears Festival, Bonnaroo, High Water Festival, and more.2015
2013 - 2015 Graphic Designer at Post No Bills, an advertising company that was based in Columbia, SC and Charleston, SC. I was a key contributor to major campaigns for clients like ESPN, The South Carolina State Fair, Bacardi, and the Columbia Visitor Bureau. I developed logos, designed marketing materials, and promoted brands across multiple advertising platforms. I enjoyed the teamwork in developing brand identity and applying it to all levels of business-to-consumer interaction, especially web presence, marketing materials, and event decor. I won American Advertising (ADDY) Awards for the "Indie Grits 48-Hour Film Blitz" Campaign and for the SC State Fair 2013 Campaign.2013
2012 - 2014 For two years I was the Marketing Associate for Hay Hill Garden Market. Overseeing Web Presence, Marketing Steps, in-store merchandising, and design projects.2012
2012 - 2013 As a Special Projects Associate at Flock & Rally Events + Communications I gained hands-on experience working on major community events like Crafty Feast, Palmetto Tasty Tomato Festival, and the Free Times "Best of Columbia" Party. I designed fundraiser kits, sponsorship packets, and other marketing materials. I also developed websites and logos for small businesses in the community.2012
2012 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Mass Communications at the University of South Carolina with a degree in Advertising with a minor in Fine Art Photography.2012
2009 - 2012 While in College I was the Music Director for our college radio station - WUSC FM-HD1 Columbia. I directed a body of over 150 DJs & all music played on-air. I published Top-40 charts for the College Music Journal for three years. I worked closely with distributors, labels, and promoters around the country with charts, tracking, and adds. I booked, promoted, and executed several concerts pulling in 150+ people. During this time I developed my skills in organization, poster design, and event promotion.2009
